Los fusibles de baja tensión de la serie RT16 cuentan con las ventajas de un tamaño reducido, peso ligero, bajo consumo de energía y una alta capacidad de ruptura. Se utilizan en dispositivos de distribución de energía de CA con una frecuencia nominal de 50 Hz, un voltaje nominal de hasta AC 500 V / 690 V o inferior, y con una corriente nominal de hasta 1250 A para la protección contra sobrecargas y cortocircuitos.
Asimismo, la variante del producto con función de "percutor" (impactor) se selecciona y utiliza en dispositivos eléctricos —tales como equipos de distribución de energía— para la salida de señales en caso de que el fusible se funda.

Working environment conditions:
1.1 Ambient temperature: Not greater than 40℃ ; the average measured within 24h does not exceed 3540℃ ,and measured within one year is below this value. The minimum value of ambient air temperature is +-5℃ .
1.2 Altitude: Not exceed 2000m.
1.3 Atmospheric conditions: The air is clean, and its relevant humidity does not exceed 50% at the maximum temperature 40℃ ; a higher relevant humidity is allowed at the lower temperature. For example, the relevant humidity can reach 90% at 20℃ ; the middle condensation may occur occasionally due to the temperature changes under those conditions.
