El minicontactor de CA de la serie TGCA-□M (en lo sucesivo denominado contactor) se caracteriza por su diseño compacto y apariencia estética. Se utiliza principalmente en sistemas de potencia de corriente alterna (CA) a 50 Hz (o 50/60 Hz) con un voltaje nominal de trabajo de hasta 690 V. Bajo la categoría de utilización AC-3, opera con una corriente nominal de trabajo de hasta 12 A a un voltaje nominal de trabajo de 380 V para la conexión y desconexión remota de circuitos.
Este contactor es ideal para el arranque y control frecuente de motores de corriente alterna.
